Am I Eligible?

SmartShift Rewards is available to any SCE or Community Choice Aggregator (CCA) customer in SCE service area, who:

* A Thermostatic Mixing Valve (TMV) is required for all heat pump water heaters. Your water heater will need to have the ability to connect to WiFi or cellular service, either built into the equipment or through an added device.

What are demand response (DR) and Time-of-use (TOU) rates?

Energy prices vary throughout the day and when demand is at its peak (typically between 4:00pm to 9:00pm) the cost of electricity increases. The combination of Demand Response and TOU rate plans can help you take advantage of lower energy prices.
